In the 28th century, Valerian and Laureline were special industry teams responsible for maintaining order in the human field. Under the auspices of the defense minister, both missionaries start in the fascinating city of Alpha – a developing metropolis where species from across the universe have gathered for centuries to share knowledge, intelligence and culture.
